About the Weight Loss Study

This 12-week experiment is an opportunity for 100+ people to commit to their weight loss goals while helping us gather important data on how accountability impacts success. Everyone who signs up and submits their initial and final weigh-in photos will be entered into the prize drawing!
We will be splitting participants into two groups. 100+ people will be randomly selected as the test group and receive personalized support from our team throughout the experiment. These participants will experience firsthand our professional accountability service, which is designed to increase the likelihood of reaching their target weight.
The remaining participants will make up the control group, where they’ll work independently without direct support. Both groups will follow the same guidelines and submit weigh-in photos, allowing us to compare the outcomes and understand how structured accountability influences weight loss results.

What You’ll Do as Participant

Submit a Starting Weigh-in Photo

Our standard weigh-in procedure requires you to provide two photos:

A photo of yourself standing on a scale, dressed in lightweight clothing (please remove shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or any outerwear).

A photo of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word clearly visible on a piece of paper next to it.

Track your Progress

Keep track of your progress over the 12-week experiment, staying accountable to your goals.

For Test Group Participants:

Monitor Your Progress: Regularly track your progress over the 12-week experiment, following the personalized support and accountability strategies provided by our team. Engage actively with the resources and feedback you receive to stay on track with your weight loss goals.

For Control Group Participants:

Monitor Your Progress Independently: Keep a record of your progress throughout the experiment. While you will be working independently without direct support, maintaining a personal log and setting milestones can help you stay focused on your goals.

Submit an Ending Weigh-in Photo

Submit your ending weigh-in photo at the end of the experiment to complete your participation.

Enter the Prize Drawing

All participants who submit both photos will be automatically entered into the drawing to win cash prizes of $300, $200, or $100.

Accountability and Support Commitment

If selected to participate in the experiment, you will be required to follow a structured accountability system designed to help you stay on track. This will require a minimum of 1 hour of your time.

Step #1: The Compass Call (30-60 minutes)

In our intro call, we will discuss your goals, challenges, and desired outcomes. Together, we’ll establish clear milestones and identify high-impact tasks and habits to keep you focused and committed.

Step #2: Weekly or Monthly Accountability Calls (10 minutes)

Receive as many as three accountability calls per week or as few as one per month. These short calls help keep you accountable to the tasks and habits you've committed to do.

Step #3: Monthly or Bi-monthly Strategy Calls (20 minutes)

Once a month or every other week, we will have a deep dive to review your progress, adjust your strategy, and identify the most impactful tasks you can make. In these sessions, we brainstorm solutions to any obstacles you may encounter, ensuring that you continue to make progress.

Step #4: Accountability Messages and Goal Support

Throughout the month, you can also expect regular follow-ups through motivational texts and reminders to help you stay on top of your goals, while our team is also available to provide any additional guidance you need to meet your milestones.

Step #5: Specialized Calls (10 minutes)

If you're really struggling to start a habit, you can schedule our specialized kickoff calls for extra support. In these calls, we call you up and ensure you're taking action.

Important: Participation in the accountability service is mandatory for all selected participants. If you are not interested in receiving this level of support and plan to decline the service, we kindly ask that you refrain from applying for this experiment.

Selection for Support

Following registration, we will select over 100 participants to receive personalized support from our team throughout the experiment. These participants will benefit from our professional accountability service, designed to enhance their chances of reaching their target weight. The remaining participants will be part of the control group, working independently but still eligible for the prize drawing. Both groups will follow the same guidelines and submit their weigh-in photos, helping us compare outcomes and better understand the impact of structured accountability on weight loss success. Participants are not required to lose weight to be eligible for the free gift or drawing.

Submit Your Starting Weigh-in Photo

We will provide instructions for submitting your starting weigh-in photo. All participants will submit their photos at the same time.

Restrictions

Participants are limited to residents of the US and Canada with a US or Canadian-based number. Gift vouchers will be awarded through email. Winners of the drawing will be notified by email and will be paid through Venmo or Paypal.
